Madden 13 Soundtrack

I will be buying Madden 13 this year - the Madden 13 soundtrack, that is.

No more EA Trax, thank goodness. This is action film music. It's composed by the same guy who did the NCAA 12 and 13 soundtrack, Colin O'Malley. I loved the NCAA 12 soundtrack, which is available now at Amazon for $4.99.

Anyone else interested in the soundtrack for Madden this year?

I'm probably alone on this, but I actually don't like it. Resembles NCAA too much and unfortunately I wasn't a fan of NCAA's soundtrack

It's funny how people have such different tastes. I love the NCAA soundtrack.

Do you usually like soundtrack music, but just don't like this one, or do you not like soundtrack music at all?

You're not alone. Trust me, soundtracks with this instrumental music get annoying real quickly. I would prefer to play my own music but you cant do that this year for PS3.

The new approach is totally against what I was hoping for. There was a time where I was giddy for the soundtracks in EA games because I'd invariably discover some new Alt. rock or rap bands that suited me (back in older Madden days, NHL 09-10, etc). Now, it seems like only the FIFA series has what I need. Unless NHL 13 can step up.

If Madden wanted its own sound, I think it failed, because this seems like NCAA's, no question.

I cant stand it, after a while it burrows into my head. I play NCAA with the sound all the way down until i play a game.

I enjoyed the old EA Trax or whatever... found a few bands that I ended up liking as a result.

Although editing the songs (including Rage Against the Machine's political diatribes) was annoying.

It's not so much that I DISLIKE NCAA's music, it's just that Madden doesn't sound like pro football. NCAA's music is great for college football, although it does get annoying. I just wish the music sounded more like professional football. THIS is what I'm talking about...

They should've taken all of the tracks from the Autumn Thunder NFL compilation and added any newer NFL Films songs.

It's like a mix of NCAA 13 and Jurassic Park music. It really doesn't make me feel like I'm about to play an NFL game.

Not the biggest fan of their 'NFL' music. I did enjoy the EA trax for the most part. Foo fighters, Under0ath, Blink 182... I enjoyed the music while creating players, teams, etc.
