Should we do away with difficulty ratings in madden?

I play a ton of madden and I usually play on all madden and consistantly beat the cpu by 20 points. I tried custom sliders and that made games closer but it seems the only way the game becomes difficult is by handicapping myself. We all know about super linebackers and psychic dbs or user defenders drippin tons of ints and players freezing allowing te cpu to run or catch the ball before reacting and quite frankly when I do lose a game I feel cheated as opposed to being out played. So basically what I propose is that these silly difficulty rating be scrapped for something more realistic. In the nfl what makes a team difficult? Well I think a couple things that factor in are the players, the system they run (or coaching I guess) ,and momentum ( like how the giants picked up momentum last year late in the season to make a run to the superbowl) . In other words if I'm playing a top 5 defense that's where my difficulty should come in and the elite players should shine. If I got patrick willis in the middle I should feel his presence like seeing him making takles left and right or if I'm in new york revis should play like his real life counter part in shutting down my best receiver and if those players are on my team it should be like that too. Of course this should work on the flip side aswell, if I have a scrub at corner then he should play like a scrub. Of course good players get beat too so I'm not saying that if you have a 99 rated corner then its always shut down time but I just feel that the game should be dictated by the ratings in terms of difficulty and not handicapping yourself and your own team to get a challenge out of madden. An also for casual players there can be a arcade style of rating or something to that effect. Please feel free to agree/disagree leave comments on how my idea can be improved or I you think its stupid lol let the discussion begin!

I don't like difficulty levels either. I guess because it's not totally clear what they do. Pro is what I use because that is what I assume uses a 1:1 User/CPU ratings adjustment I.E. My 99 strength OL will win (usually) versus a 70 strength DL.

I play on Pro and adjust sliders.
