I just won the NFC Divisional game @ the Packers because the AI cannot run a 2 minute drill. They call too many runs instead of marching down the field and burn through timeouts because they ran the ball and now scramble to hurry up, only to compete a pass, then do a run again. is there any fix for this or will it be addressed in the patch? Re: Broken AI 2 minute drill
CPU clock management inside of two minutes has been a problem in Madden for years and years. My favorite was always when you have no time outs and they're inside two minutes with the ball and the lead. They come and kneel down. Next play, the line up and run the ball.
Simple logic. If/then statements...*sigh*
I'm with whoever said that if the cpu has the ball inside two minutes with 1st and ten and you have no timeouts, then cut scenes should kick in showing the kneel-downs, coaches and players walking out on the field, etc. We'll probably get this some time around 2032-33. Can't wait.Comment

Re: Broken AI 2 minute drill
My favorite is when they call their last timeout after 3rd down, then punt the ball to you (with so little time left that you can just kneel twice and run it out). The punt in this situation basically signals that CPU has given up (like when they don't onside kick, stop calling timeouts after a stop on defense trying to get the ball back, etc), why are they calling a timeout first?Comment
