The developer has already stated that certain ratings determine certain abilities on the field:


"Q3: Has signature fielding made the cut for MLB2K9?
A3: No "signature fielding" this year, it's strictly based on ratings. "

THAT might just mean that the triggering of animations edit I did for NBA 2k9 might work just as well as it did here?

I am hopeful once I get my copy to see what the possibilities are but I want to to do this constructively and maybe get a team of guys on for info regarding team's roster accessories etc. so we can make this one a doozy.

If you guys know one thing about me is that I'm nuts over the NBA stuff but my first love is baseball so this is a no brainer for me. I'll detail out what i think might be needed very soon.

AlbertPujolsFreak5 - Thank you for the fast response. i would love to have ya on board for accessories. we DO have some time with this but i'm pulling for a release by the end of march, so hopefully spring training shows us enough.

THA IC3MAN95 - what would you like to do? I need lineups for the season.

Hey I can actually have them done probably by the 10th of March possibly sooner. As I will be looking at the rosters of each team and get their accessories right. Such as color, type of wrist band, earings, cleat colors, socks high or low, jersey fit, pant fit, elbow guard, etc. You get the point. But tell me, do you want me to do every player or just the big names? And just give me the signal to get started and I will.

Hey Tomba, I'm definitely interested in helping out with the project. I'm pretty good with stances, and judging from the videos we've seen so far, it looks like a lot of guys will need a stance.

I would love to help out here as well...I am a stickler for realism, and the slightest inaccuracies annoy me to all hell...so I am definitely willing to lend a hand.

My favorite team is the Cardinals btw, and I live in the Chicago area and get plenty of Cubs and White Sox games also, so those teams will be the ones I can help with the most...but eventually I do them all on my own anyways, so I figure why not share them with the community?

This is great we need to have people pitching in with info for their favorite/home teams i might not live in Chicago say but a native might be able to give me more insight. so lets see if we can make this a state by state kinda thing
