How do you get baserunning skill points in my player??

I have played like 12 minor league games and i cannot get any baserunning skill points. I get on base all the time, but the only time I ever got any points was when i scored a run. Is their any other way??

Stealing a base and hit and run scenario's. But, yes it is very hard to build up the base running skill from my experience.
