    Mispronounciation of Names!!!!

How can these guys mispronounce names when they are real baseball announcers!! They say the l's in yovanni gallardos name. its supposed to be guy-are-do. or clint barmes. they say barms. its bar-mess. there are so many examples that i can't even list them all.

lmao-im harping about how they pronounce names and i mispell mispronunciation. lol. ironic

Hahaha... way to laugh at yourself though. Good job. I hate to start a whole thread of examples but here I go...

On my Jays, dude says "Edwin En-car-nay-see-own" just like that. Drives me nuts. But in a way I guess it's a bit like real broadcasts where they call names wrong all the time when they don't know the player.

Thorne doesn't say Schlereth's name quite right. I thought he would know that better given his dad was a big time OL when he played.

For Angel Pagan of the Mets, it drives me nuts when you hear the PA announcer say Angel 'PAYgen' instead of pronouncing his last name paGON. Sometimes, even Gary Thorne pronounces it PAYgen. UGH!
