Why is my OFer throwing to 1b??

Okay, I am getting tired of my OFers throwing to first base even though I am pressing the 2nd base button! Why are they doing this? I do not have the Auto set on my fielding...

For example, after a groundball goes to LF, sometimes when I push the 2nd base button (never do I touch the 1b button) the throw will go to 1b and the runner will take off and make a double out of it....its kind of frustrating, and it happens at least 2 or 3 times a game.

    Anyway to fix this?

When life hands you a lemon, just look up and say, "Oh yeah, is that all you got? Because I love lemons!".

Not something I've ever seen so it's definitely something you're doing wrong. Even if it was set to auto fielding, 90% of the time the outfielders throw to the cutoff man, not to any base.

At what point in the fielding process do you press triangle to throw to second?

As soon as my fielder grabs the ball, I press the triangle...am I doing it to soon? Maybe its happening because the runner hasnt hit first base yet??

I haven't had this issue, but in RTTS it seems like the bases are opposite if you're a center fielder at least.

There's a problem with the "fielder" throwing controls. Change it to "classic" and re-learn the bases and you should be good.

lol, yeah it took a few errors to figure that one out in RTTS...

If you have the default controls, Wouldn't triangle be to throw HOME? X would be for 2B. I usually hit L1 to throw to the cutoff man, so I don't really have this issue.

I know in MLB 07, there was a pretty huge bug where if you're playing an infielder and you field a grounder the buttons get screwed up so that pressing [] would sometimes throw to 3rd.
