Sometimes i see a green R or a red Star...and a whole bunbha other icons next to a pleyer's name in the stats. What does each small colored box icon represent?

The red and blue stars are indicators that the player made the allstar team the previous year. The green R indicates the player is a rookie. There are some mistakes in the rookies (ie Bubba Trammel) -

yeah...like Karim Garcia being in the running in my Career Mode for Rookie of the Year...what the heck is that?!?!--If you need it, you don't have it. If you have it you don't need it. But if you need and you don't have it, you want it. If you don't have any of it, then you really don't know how to get more of it to get started then anyways now do you? --Comment

red 'DL': disabled list
