Re: True Game MLB Sliders

Great to see the input. Make sure you see the updated modifier chart and settings based on the season findings not too many changes, but something you may want to check out and print. I see you are on track with San Diego getting shut out, they lead the majors this year currently. Tough pitchers to start off against. Glad to see a team that isn't that strong in the mix. It will be good to see what stats you collect of the course of the season. Some of mine are provided above. Let me know what you think. Remember the modifiers have maximums so check them out. For example the max SOLID HITS is 5 don't want to go any higher than this, trust me and Max POWER is 6...Say I already have drawn a +1 Solid hit card and I draw another that indicates another +1 solid hit, it just gets x'd out not applied the SH remains at 5, you do not draw another card, but can apply any other modifiers if there are any within limits on the card. For example the 5 of diamonds has +1 SH -1 Timing, if you are already at 5 SH you can apply the -1 timing and reduce that to 5 for the Human.

If you have questions just let me know.

Game #3

I was swept by the Dodgers in series 1. They sure do have a good rotation. I had no chance against Maeda for the 1st 7 innings and could not get a clutch two out hit in the bottom of the 7th to tie the game. My bullpen is rough and without help its going to be a long year. My modifiers were +2 to all errors both fielding and throwing. I also had the HOF pitch and Vet/Hit modifier. I made the changes as placed in the first post.

Re: True Game MLB Sliders

The Padres finally get their first win of the season as patience won out against the Rockies. Andrew Cashner had a good game and came out with the tough victory. The modifers were all adjustments to hitting for both of us except the baserunning increase.

Re: True Game MLB Sliders

NLDS and ALDS is now set:

Dodgers defeat the Cubs 3 games to 2.
Mets over Nationals 3 games to 2.

Toronto was up 2-0 over the Indians, but the Indians take the next three. Indians have the best record at 102 wins.

Baltimore wins 3-2 over Oakland and will face Cleveland.

To recap:

Game 1 saw the A's go up 2-0 early. Orioles tie the game in the 8th at 2 only to lose on an RBI Single in the 11th for a 3-2 loss.

Game 2 it was the Orioles over the A's 6-4 to tie the series at 1-1

Game 3 in Oakland and it was all Oakland how hammered the O's 10-2. Down 5-1 in the 4th with two outs with runners on second and third. A ball is hit into the shift in right field and Parades decides to let it go through his legs scoring 1. The bases are then loaded and Lowrie launches a grand slam for a 10-1 lead.

Game 4 saw the O's down again 2-0 early to battle back and tie the game at 2-2. In to extras again which I was terrible in the regular season and already 0-1 in the series. In the bottom of the 11th it was payback when Parades drove a ball deep to right for a walk off HR. Series tied at 2-2.

Game 5 Tillman started not at 100% rest roughly about 85% wanted to get at least 5. Didn't look good in the first as the A's jumped out to a 3-0 lead. To the bottom of 1 Chris Davis at bat 0-16 in the series two outs, two on, and he drives the ball deep to left to tie the game at 3-3. O's take a 4-3 lead only to see Jimenez who has been in the bull pen come in and give up the tying HR. To the bottom of the 9th Adam Jones on first, Parades does it again and drives a ball just over the RF wall to walk off with a 6-4 win and a series clincher. He was my ALDS MVP to say the least coming through twice late.

Great series to say the least and to show you how the modifiers can be misleading in my 10-2 loss I had a Contact 10, Solid hits 5, Power 6. Norms are 9-4-4. Couldn't muster nothing 8 hits runs came off HR by Machado and Jones. The CPU had a timing of 4 from 5 Contact of 8 from 9 pitch control 3 to 4.

Looking forward to facing the best team in the league now in the ALCS.

Game #5
The Padres were not able to down the Rockies on the road today. The Padres were able to tie the game on a 9th inning two-out triple by John Jay, but Mark Reynolds hit a walk-off homer for the Rockies to win 4-3. The moves the Padres to 1-4 on the young season.

Re: True Game MLB Sliders

The Padres are struggling. Another game in which they fight back in the top of the 9th to take the lead, and lose in the bottom to the Rockies. Great game to play regardless of the score and Nolan Arenado had 3 hr's for the Rockies. My bullpen needs help already as they continuously give up 1 run per inning.
