Jimmy Chitwood took the mound to face The Shark, Jeff Samardzija. The Rockies gave up two, two-out, two-strike homeruns to Brandon Crawford. Crawford's plate coverage was exception in this game and the announcers were quick to point out his hot streak. I should have been much more careful (READ: No hanging Jimmy Chitwood sliders!).

Wow, was Matt Moore ever on during the last game of a 4 game series against my Rockies. I was helpless to lay off his knuckle-curve and he did a great job mixing his pitches. With timing at 3, you will really notice you need to get the timing down on the breaking stuff. We couldn't generate any offense this game however. Arenado broke up the perfect game during the 6th inning.

The Rockies are on the road against the Los Angeles Dodgers and faced RYU (all I can think of is Street Fighter every time).
Still couldn't wake the bats up on this road trip. Blackmon lead the game off with a walk and Desmond promptly GIDP. That was the last baserunner we'd see until the 8th inning when LeMahieu broke up the no-hitter with a double down the line.

Hey, thanks for giving the sliders a go. I have always used zone hitting so I cannot really speak for how they will play on directional, but my suspicion is that interface should not matter too much. One way to find out! Definitely will not affect computer slider settings.

The Giants and Rockies hooked up for the second time this year - this time at Coors. We were hoping the home field could wake the bats up, but Cueto Kd the first 6 batters to open the game. His changeup is nasty.
However, it was Tyler Anderson that brought a no-hitter into the 7th inning, until he lost that (triple to Nunez), and the shutout (Pence homered next), and eventually the Rockies lost the game in the 11th after putting together a nice rally in the 9th and possibly could have won on a wild pitch, but I was too scared to send the runner!
