Game 5
NY 7-8-0
Baltimore 3-8-1

I was helpless between the afternoon sun at Camden Yards and Ubaldo Jimenez slicing through the order. A potential masterpiece was ruined by the CPU taking out Jimenez in the 5th when he was in control of the game. Out penchant for the big inning continued as a throwing error by Machado in the top of the 6th opened the gate for 4 unearned runs as we put up a 5 spot on a 2 run jack by Holliday following the error and a two out three run shot by Gregorious, appearing in his first game of the season. I struggled with Mitchell's control early, but he settled down and went 6 decent innings giving up 6 hits, 3 earned runs, but walking 6 and striking out 4.

HR
Yankees 2 - Holliday (3), Gregorious (1)
Orioles 0

2B
Orioles 4 Yankees 1

I drew 3 walks and fanned 8 times and gave up 7 walks (ugh) while striking out 9. The big inning is the difference between 3-2 and 1-4 right now.

I am leaving Milwaukee 6-0. I won the finale 5-2. Took a 3-0 lead and they scored single runs in the 5th and 6th to make it 3-2 and I got a couple insurance runabout in the 7th. Good game all around.

Game 7 against the Dodgers and I'm 7-0. The wind was blowing out I won 7-5. I hit 6 HR and the Dodgers hit 2.

Dodgers 5 9 0
Cubs 7 11 1

Schwarber hit 3 HR and Seager hit 2. The wind helped most of them.

Game 8 and the 2nd game of the Dodgers series wasn't raining. Since it wasn't raining I raised the throwing errors and wind up by 1. The wind wasn't blowing 10 mph in. I won 2-1. A wild pitch by the Dodgers gave me a 2-1 lead.

Dodgers 1 4 0
Cubs 2 6 2

I thought I might cheat the bug and when they got someone up in the bullpen in the bottom of the 5th inning I changed users and sat them back down. I had a glimmer of hope cause they didn't bring him back up. Then they brought him in in the start of the 6th inning with the game tied at 1.

I also tried to lower the my contact to 4 and power to 3 to see if it makes a difference. I am going to test that out for a bit.

Let me know how that plays. I have been toying contact to 4 to make the timing a bit more of a challenge.

I put it back up to where you had it. I was down 5-0 in the 7th when I had to save it. Getting 1 hit by Kazmir. It felt off so I put it back. I was just afraid my team batting average would get too high. But most of the games I was getting between 8-11 hits batting about .250. The 2 high scoring games had me worried.

I am thinking about turning Quick Counts off until they get it fixed. I just need to work on my walks and not taking the first pitch. I guess I don't know the strategy to do so. Do I automatically look to take the first pitch? What do people do?

Re: BYU 14's "Old Guy" quick count sliders for The Show 17

Game 6 of my Yankees Franchise record 3

New York 1-5-0
Baltimore 2-6-0

Baltimore avoids the sweep in a tight pitchers duel between Tanaka and Wilson. The patch does not seem to have affected anything with the sliders, but of course they have not fixed the hook issue with quick counts and there is really no excuse for that, but oh well.

Tied at 0-0 into the 6th, Sanchez hits a two out HR and sure enough, the CPU replaces Wilson.

Tanaka on the day goes 6 innings due to pitch count, gives up 6 hits, 1 earned run, walks 4 and fans 7 (6 in a row at one point)

Extra base hits, I had the Sanchez HR (His second on the season) and Baltimore had 2 doubles.

My bullpen only allowed a single base runner (a walk by Layne in the 8th) and I brought Betances in to get the final two outs. I blew a double play when Castro missed the bag (never seen this before), Betances wild pitched the runner to third, then this happened!
