I haven't seen this luckily, I have seen some good stuff on the fielding side since the patch. Hopefully just a fluke.

I swept the White Sox 5-0, 10-1, and 6-2. Then I raised my hitting difficulty to Veteran Plus again. I was getting too many hits. I won the first two against the Orioles 4-3 and 9-2. The 3rd game I had Sale going. He struck out 8 in the first 4 innings but gave up a lot of hits. He went 6 IP, 10 hits, 3 runs, 2 BB, 10 K. I lost 3-2.

Red Sox 2 5 0
Orioles 3 11 0

Red Sox: 1 2B, 1 HR, 5 BB, 4 K
Orioles: 2 2B, 3 BB, 12 K

For the past 6 games I was pitching on All Star Plus at default except that I lowered Human control and consistency to 4. It's been working okay for me so far.

Last two games, first one the rubber match against the Red Sox in our 3 game series, and Arietta finally gets some run support! Then Houston rolls into town and batter Tanaka giving him his first loss of the season. Now 28-19. Still AS+ hitting and HOF pitching.

Boston 2-3-0
Yankees 5-12-0
Red Sox: 2B-2, BB-4, K-14
Yankees: 2B-3, HR-2, BB-2, K-4

Houston 11-15-1
Yankees 0-4-1
Astros: 2B-3, HR-2, BB-4, K-11
Yankees: 2B-1, BB-1, K-3

Are you on All Star + or Veteran + for hitting?

Oops, Veteran + Hitting

Game 2 against the Astros and we bounce back to move to 29-19, 2nd place in the east, 3 games behind Boston.

Houston 2-5-0
New York 5-7-0
This was the Gary Sanchez show as he drove in 3 of our runs with a HR and a double. Pineda won his 7th, pitching flawlessly outside of tow solo HR.
Houston: 2B-1, HR-2, BB-3, K-10
Yankees: 2B-3, HR-1, BB-4, K-5

Notable players
Offense
Gary Sanchez .293-12-36, .540 slugging
Michael Brantley .273-6-21, 9 SB
Brett Gardner .273-1-7, 12 SB
Aaron Judge .247-9-28, .341 OBP
Pitching
Michael Pineda 7-3, 1.99, 1.07 Whip
Masahiro Tanaka 6-1, 1.91, 1.00 Whip
Jake Arrieta 2-5, 2.26, 1.11 Whip
Aroldis Chapman 1-0, 1.00, 12 saves, 0.89 Whip

Re: BYU 14's "Old Guy" quick count sliders for The Show 17

Big series in New York as we go play the 2nd place Yankees who are 3.5 games behind us. I won the first game 3-0 behind a great outing by Porcello. The 2nd game the Yankees got 3 runs in the first 2 innings to pull to a 3-0 lead. Red Sox would tie it with 3 in the 6th from a 2 run HR from Benintendi. The Yankees would pull ahead in the 7th on a sac fly. 9th inning the Yankees bring in Chapman and strikes out the first 2 batters. Then Ramirez hits a fastball down the middle for a game tying HR to CF. With the score tied at 4-4 the Red Sox would get a big 2 run single from Frazier to make it 6-4 and Kimbrel came in to close out the game for his 21st save to make it 21/21 this year in save opportunities.

Red Sox 6 9 0
Yankees 4 6 0

Red Sox: 2 2B, 1 3B, 2 HR, 5 BB, 11 K
Yankees: 1 2B, 1 HR, 1 BB, 16 K

I might go back up to Hall of Fame pitching.

Re: BYU 14's "Old Guy" quick count sliders for The Show 17

Game two vs the Yankees started off as a pitching duel then the offense opened up for both teams. Yankees had no problem getting hits all game, as my offense struggled, but did get the walks to help get the Grand Slam from Heyward in the 6th.

NYY 3 10 0
CHC 7 6 0

NYY - 2 Doubles, SB, 1 BB, 5 K's
CHC - 4 HR's, SAC, 3 BB's, 7 K's
