Went 7-8 in my first 15 games with the lowly Brewers on Franchise before realizing I had it on Rookie lol. I just changed it to Legend and will now probably lose 100 more games.

The last few posts totally misunderstanding the thread are making me laugh out loud (actually). It's almost like they don't know the medium or the sport they're to be referencing or commentating on.

Sincerely,

Jason Whitlock

Freaking SCEA nerfed Francisco Liriano and Jeff Locke's BB/9, making them impossible to pitch with!

Is it possible in this game to move the DH to a defensive position and then hit with the pitcher in the DH spot?

Last night Jed Lowrie moved from DH to 2B (because they had no other players capable of playing 2B), then A's pitcher Graveman had to hit in the DH spot.

That's a great question. I'm not sure if the DH can be moved to defense in The Show. But I'll leave that to those who know more about that sort of stuff (I primarily play RTTS pitcher)

But I was watching that game, and when I saw Melvin make the move, I thought of this thread lol.

If ppl playing The Show saw a pitcher batting in an AL game...it would be anarchy & the game is 'broken'

Re: Watching MLB; If "This" Would Have Happened In The Show Thread

(Sorry in advance for doing 3 in one post, just thought they were all good!)

Pitching is till just way too easy in this game--even on All Star and HoF difficulty. I mean yesterday was the first time that my starter didn't make it out of the 6th inning. And my starting pitching is supposed to be one of the weaker parts of my roster!

The commentary is sooo repeditive. Every time i strike out on a Syndergaard slider you can just cue up "most guys throw a 90 mph fastball, and hes throwing a 90 mph slider." And seriously the velocity is way off on some of these guys. Syndergaard is a starting pitcher, just cause he can throw 100 doesn't mean he can do it in the 7th and 8th inning.

--anyone facing Noah Syndergaard

I feel like Bryce Harper's sim stats are just always out of this world. Like he's always in the running for the triple crown. Theres never any variety in my franchises. The really popular players always do well.

I get 10 hits and can only score 1 run...against Kershaw!

There should be a "clutch" slider somewhere I can tune.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
