If EA still had the MLB/MLBPA licenses...

I was wondering, if EA was able to come out with a new MLB game this year do you think they would have implemented Rookie teams? For those of you that don't know, Rookie teams are basically teams below the A level in Minor League Baseball. I also was waiting to be able to play as a friend of mine who's gone on to be drafted by the Astros, he was called up to the Lexington Legends last year. Here's hoping a complete Major & Minor League roster is out around Opening Day (for Xbox).

Anyways, besides Rookie teams, what else do you guys think EA might have put into the next MVP MLB game? I don't remember Minor League All-Star games from last year, so I suppose that's another thing they could have added.

Well, I think it they were going to expand the minors they would have added lower A first
also, even if they had your friend wouldn't have been in the rosters as EA only had the licence to use members of the MLBPA in the game

      What's your friend's name anyway?

I think they would have intoduced load & Fire hitting and anolog fielding where you use the right analog stick to throw to the bases and hit.

Hmm, if they didn't put that into the NCAA game I don't think they would have put it into the next MLB game. But yeah, I suppose they might have, you never know.

And yeah, I forgot about the Lower A level, I thought that was in MVP 2005, but I guess it isn't. I suppose there's also the Mexican League too, isn't that considered part of the A Level?

My friend's name is Mitch Einertson, I think he had a pretty good 1st year, based on his stats. I think he was the youngest guy on the team too. And yeah he wouldn't necessarily been in this year's game, but last year there were a lot of "real" minor league players under dummy-names, and you could just rename them.

He crushed the **** out of rookie ball 24 HR in 227 AB (.308 avg)

seems to have a problem with A ball 7 HR in 355 ABs (.234 avg), was he playing hurt or something?
