Shooting delay?

I’m playing on my PS4 and I’m just wondering if anyone else when they try to play a game online versus a random online match and, if they find the shooting metre has a delay? When I play off-line it seems super smooth. But I find when I try to play online there’s a delay between when I see it start and the response when I click the button to try to complete the shot at the top of the arc. Anyone else get that same kind of delay? Just wondering if it’s me on my Wi-Fi or just everyone online.

thats completely normal that online you will have some degree of input delay which can vary depending on the Connection to your opponent.

This is my second biggest frustration this year right after stopping superstar bigs from going god mode.

The load up time for every shot is a lot longer than previous 2ks and it really affects the online shot timing for me. I green all day in freestyle, but the online timing feels inconsistent.

Its possible that its tied to a rating.

With 50 free throw rating i got the same issue which made it impossible to hit a free throw.

Once i made it 70 it was back to what it should be.

Although even with great timing im missing some lol

I wondered if it was tied to a players ability as well because I could’ve swore playing off-line in my franchise it was harder time with poor players
