Well after starting like 3 or 4 different MyGMs, I think I finally found one that I want to stick with.

I decided to pick the Pistons.

Even though it's not realistic, my first order of business was to get rid of Josh Smith. I don't like the way he fits at SF around Monroe and Drummond, so I traded him to Orlando. They were willing to give me a 2015 1st round pick and Hedo Turkoglu, so I jumped on it.

I signed Ish Smith and made another small deal for Ronny Turiaf andthis is my new rotation:

PG - Brandon Jennings - Chauncey Billups - Ish Smith - Peyton Siva
SG - Rodney Stuckey - Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (love this kid on this game)
SF - Hedo Turkoglu - Kyle Singler - Luc Richard Mbah a Moute
PF - Greg Monroe - Jonas Jerebko - Tony Mitchell - Josh Harrelson
C - Andre Drummond - Ronny Turiaf

We've started 8-4, which actually puts us in first place of the division.

Brandon Jennings and Greg Monroe are playing outstanding. Andre Drummond is owning the boards and KCP is lighting it up. I'm not liking Turkoglu right now, his shot is impossible for me to get down. We'll see if that changes down the road.

With all of that said, a couple of things that I'm not a big fan of.

1. The crowd never says "Detroit Basketball". I don't understand why.

2. I started the season with 10% fan popularity. Then I resigned Greg Monroe to a 3-year extension and made him my "Star," and the fan popularity instantly jumped to 60%. It isn't that easy is it?

You could have gotten alot more for Josh Smith.

I give you props for not making the trades where you just rob the CPU, but man you could have got alot more for Josh Smith. Keep in mind, that 2015 pick isn't going to be very high now that the Magic have Josh Smith, their pick from 2014, and another year of development from their players. They could be a playoff team. Smith is worth alot more than a veteran on his last legs and a mid range first round pick. You could have waited until the draft and then traded him for a top five pick. Or a young starting quality wing player.

I'm running with my Celtics and we are 10-11 so far. I just lost Jeff Green for 4-6 weeks with a broken ankle. The Hawks offered me their 2014 2nd round pick and Cartier Martin for Marshon Brooks so I took that. I also got an offer from the Warriors where I get Iggy for Crawford, Humphries and my 2014 and 15 first rounders. I didn't take that one only because I don't think they would trade him in real life, but I would love to run the floor with Iggy and Rondo.
