Headbands disappearing after last patch?

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but in MyGM, after the last patch, whenever a player that wears headbands appears in a press conference picture in the NBA.com news, the game not only removes their headband from that picture (which it didn't before, leading to some funny pictures of LeBron in a suit with his headband still on), but completely from the game. And because of NBA 2k14's new stupid idea that we can't edit players in our own offline MyGM mode, you can't put them back on.

This has led to LeBron and Carmelo playing without headbands, which I realize is a small problem, but it's highly annoying. It would be great if we had a simple fix such as, oh I don't know, editing the player's accessories like we've been able to for the past 10 friggin' years.

Yeah i had it happen on melo ..does not look like him without it

Happened today for me, too, in my Heat MyGM, seems like I have to play without a Headband for Lebron from now on, great.
I don't believe 2k will patch this, but let's hope I'm wrong.

I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of gear edits. Team colors being messed up, barely any colors to chose from. They took out a lot of the edit features making the game not look as accurate as it could. I was very disappointed when last night I updated every knicks player gear to find out the colors can't match up for say an arm sleeve (Melo wears blue at home.. In the game you can only have white black or orange). It was frustrating.
