Should I wait to make a new MyCAREER save?

I'm on the fence about making a save right now. I'm thinking about waiting a few weeks for things to stabilize (which is a pipe dream at this point) but I'm starting to grow really impatient. My old PSN account was deleted from my PS4 and it turns out I don't remember the info.

So, I made a new account, and now I don't know what I should do, I would like it if you guys gave me your two cents on this, I really want to play MyCAREER but I don't want my save to be plagued with bugs.

Also, another question that is completely irrelevant to the topic at hand, on my old account I happened to get a Diamond Kobe Bryant in MyTEAM. Do you think if I contacted 2K they could maybe do something about that? I really feel robbed out of my Diamond Kobe (even though it was my fault). I'm not really expecting them to..

There's no point in waiting. Things won't be any better than they are right now. As for your main issue you should contact Sony support.

Well who knows when the new patch will be out and whenever it comes out it ruins something else

Honestly, if I were you, I'd consider uninstalling all of the patches, reinstalling the game and making damn sure you never touch an internet connection with NBA 2K until all issues are properly patched.

You won't earn VC, but you won't really risk losing your file. And there's a workaround for most of the known out of box bugs.
