MyCareer Settings Question

I am somewhat of a newbie to 2K Basketball and I was wondering if anyone knows if there are settings that will make the AI teams miss some shots? My AI teammates miss most of their shots, have poor awareness and are never in position for rebounds. At the same time, the other AI team makes 98% of their shots from anywhere on the court and are always in position for rebounds. Is there any way to balance this out with the settings? I have to put up 60 points a game to barely get a win and this seems a bit off to me. Thanks.

Make sure you're playing on Simulation and not Default. Default screws you over mercilessly. It won't fix all of it but it'll help.
