    2K15 PC vs ps4/xbox one

So, as I noticed it's free on steam, I decided to try it out. The controls feel like an entirely different game. In a very good way. There is no jerky and sudden movements on either offense or defense, but you really notice it on defense. It's amazing! I don't have to wonder if I'm stuck in the med or on roller skates, and I don't switch between the 2. It's a lot more like being in the mud, but not as bad. What's more important is that it's constant. I don't get near a player or an area of the court and go from dragging my feet to slipping around like a fool. It feels like I am glued to the floor. Terrible description, I know, but it's the best way to describe it.

Has anyone else noticed this, or am I just losing my mind?

I'd suggest for everyone to try it if you have a cpu that can run it and have some free time. I believe there is still around a full day of free time on steam.

I only have the PC version, so I don't know how the consoles play. And I still have no clue what people are talking about defenders feeling like their in mud or roller skates. Defense feels great to me, honestly. My issue on defense has been producing turnovers via steal.

If you were to play it on the consoles you'd understand. The difference feels like 2 different games.

More people need to play it on pc to see what I am saying.

Is it that noticeable on consoles?
Other than not getting steals, I am noticing. Cleveland and OKC are extremely overpowered. Every other team plays fine with the sliders I have and everything seems fair. But only CLE and OKC, make seemingly everything. I think the role players are overrated is what makes them OP. Guys like Jeremy Lame shooting 66% is ridiculous.

Massive difference. One thing I noticed after the first quarter of playing the pc version (aside from when I press buttons they actually do something and player control/responsiveness) is how much more realistic the game is. If I'm not running around flopping and slipping all over the place, I am playing tighter defense. This means the cpu isn't just scoring when a horrible animation or movement plays out. I can contest them on defense! It's a miracle! So they will have a couple of bad possessions and then on offense, I can actually move my ultra agile, athletic superstar point guard to a spot on the floor without bouncing off of 3 guys and near slipping into the first row. So, now I get to play an offense where I know that my guys can actually go to the spot on the floor where the play should happen without the theatrics and massive effort compared to the ps4,.

I'm basically, emphatically, saying the cheese factor is like 90% eliminated. I feel like the buttons I push matter and the movements I make are responsive and calculated.

It makes 2k15 a good game. With the prospect of patches, roster edits and mods for the pc on the horizon...wowowowowow!!!

I'd buy everyone on OS a copy if I could. it's truly a different experience.

Re: 2K15 PC vs ps4/xbox one

I have no clue what you are playing than, because I have it on PC and on the defensive side of the ball(MC mode allstar/sim) I slide all over the place unless I tap tap tap the joystick. So I really can't cosign this as the slipping and sliding happens a ton on defense on the PC version also.......

Edit: Actually I might have to cosign this. I went through all my settings and saw I had D assist str slider for your controller settings at 0. I always have it at 0 since 2k10 on PC. I decided to crank it up to 100. Well low and behold no more sliding. So this whole time I've been complaining and all I had to do was change that slider, blah. Yep everyone can slap me now than. I guess PC does play better than console(but I have no clue since I do not have this on console).

Online has been flawless on the PC for me, I have a few games in so far. PC version has definitely changed my entire view of the game.

Yeah, mine also. I am giving away my ps4 copy to a friend this week when he gets back from out of town. I can't believe the difference.

I just played 2 games. I actually really enjoyed it...like, seriously had a lot of fun.

Who knows - it may just be something with how the pc version handles input from the controller's controller (haha). What with having the possibility of dozens and dozens of controller options it's possible that part of the game is coded differently.

I can only put most of the video settings on med or low and it still looks absolutely fantastic. Plays flawlessly too.

I downloaded the trial for PC last night just to see/confirm what you're saying.

                        I officially hate you.

I am seriously now debating starting MC all over again on PC....

This is what I get for not following my rule: If it comes out for PC. Get it for PC.

I've been saying how much tighter the controls were on the PC since 2k11...subtle gameplay changes as well....noticed that offensive CPU rebounding isn't as bad and I actually saw the CPU pass out the ball after a rebound. I gotta started recording some of this stuff....

Is there a way to edit/view playbooks in MC for PC? This will have me sold if there is.

This exactly with a slight difference: Controls are tighter and players have more weight on pc since 2k9.
Regarding cpu off reb it's all about concentration and good box-out usage. As the controls are generally tighter and more responsive on pc it's easier to defend. In addition, increasing the defense assist slider in controller options up to 100 the defense becomes even more tighter. That said, you can easily have accurate cpu PiP stats, cpu off reb and good cpu FGA stats.
