No text or voice chat on PC - WTF?

It's the year 2015 and the PC edition of NBA2K15 doesn't even have the option to text or voice chat with other people in MyPark, MyTeam etc.? How the hell are we supposed to communicate with other people standing right next to us, especially when there's no way to tell their Steam ID just by looking at their character name...

Does anyone know if this is going to be patched in in the future? It's ridiculous that there can be 15 of us in the Park and there's not a single sound or way to communicate

Player name in online modes is his/her steam id. I use steam overlay chat to communicate with friends in this game. Its really inconvenient to got searching for steam id if I find good teammates and want to play again with them. Feels really lackluster of not having separate in game friend list, chat services.

Bumping this as there's no logical reason NOT to have it... 9 of us standing around in Rec Center right now and we can't chat the guys outside to get one more person in, so stupid
