Crazy Reb Rating Question

I'm working on my own rosters and since DeAndre Jordan is an absurdly good rebounder, I gave him 99 Box Out, 99 Off Reb, and 99 Def Reb. With those all at 99, his grade is still only an A- in rebounding. Is there another rating that effects rebounding, lateral quickness maybe since it's right next to the others? Any ideas? Thanks.

Vertical has a huge part in grabbing rebounds. Someone with those 99 stats, and say a 80 vert, will grab a huge amount more of rebounds then someone with a 40 vert. As far if it affects the ratings though, no idea. My center has maxed athlete, but no stats in rebounding at ALL (something like 63 box, 67-69 rebounds) but still grabs at least 9-12 (on average) boards in simulation (although he has tenacious rebounder)

I'm not 100% sure,I think Hands may also play into rebounding, as most of the good rebounders in the game usually have a high hands rating.

Makes sense i think,being able to catch better makes it easier to secure the ball.

This is just a guess, but I'd say vert, strength, hands, weight, reach, height, and awareness all play a role in someone's rebounding.

Hands rating (catching the ball), and quickness and helps as well.

I use DeAndre a ton as my Center in fantasy drafts and he almost always gets double digit boards when I'm playing with him, even with his regular stats. He plays almost exactly like how he does in real life when I use him, probably more so than anyone else in the game.

Hustle helps a ton to get boards, not sure if it will improve the grade though.

Thanks for all the feedback. Hustle was the issue. DJ's hustle was a 33, so his rebound grade was an A minus. I bumped it up to 85 and now he's an A plus. Hands are also important.
