2K should release an official list of recognized relocation team nicknames

I say this because I recently found this old list of NCAA Football's recognized list of nicknames for created schools and teams for its now-defunct Teambuilder design tool--and it is REALLY, REALLY LONG.

I know 2K only has a small number of recognized nicknames that will be spoken by the announcers this year, but this list I'm sharing here should be the standard it's measured against. It even takes misspellings into account.

It's so long, I had to put it on Pastebin. So here you go. Enjoy!

I highly doubt 2K's list of names exceeds 100. This is 5,150.

Don't get me wrong, I'm super-grateful relocation (and all the customization that comes with it) is in this year. I just wanted to make this list more visible.

2K should release an official list of recognized relocation team nicknames

I'm assuming the cities on the relocation map are the only cities that are usable, and have audio support. 2K15 had minor audio support for some foreign cities in MyTeam (London for example). If Create a Team is back, then I'd want to have a list like this so I know which city names I can use.

But as for nicknames, I'm sure anything that's used by an NBA Team currently is usable, as well as former NBA Team names (Supersonics, Stags, Bullets), since I saw that when you create teams, they have a section for historic logos.

I'm guessing they'll take several animal names as being available and other stuff like maybe cowboys and such

I'm expecting what they did with created teams in games past. They will refer to the new team as the home team or away team and kind of work around the lack of names
