Offline Players Only; How Is 3 Point Shooting?

So, finally started playing this game again after a long layoff, and I'm definitely noticing a trend between myself and the CPU.

3 Point shots are going in at a rapidly successful rate. The CPU and I are both shooting 60-70% on 3P shots. Open, covered, it doesn't matter, it seems like the ball is going in.

Midrange seems fine, the inside game seems fine, but at this point I'd almost rather take a 3P shot before anything.

I've been reading all the threads and comments about shooting adjustments being made, but everything seems to be talking about park and pro-am. Can any other fellow offline players comment on what they've seen in terms of 3P shot %?

No sliders, 2K rosters. All-Star and Superstar Simulation settings is what I use.

Re: Offline Players Only; How Is 3 Point Shooting?

In MC, my 3s are falling at about a 47% rate; but I attempt a little over 5 3s a game and they're generally wide open(no defender within about 10 feet). My teammates are shooting(other than Frank Kaminsky at 49%) around 38-42% from 3 and the team is shooting around 40%. The opposing team is generally shooting about 34% against us. The only complaint I still is the amount of highly contested bail out shots the CPU hits when it finds itself in trouble after dribbling in traffic for 22 seconds of the shot clock.
Say "No" to railroaded MC modes.

i'm more than happy to share. no sliders, simulation superstar, playing the knicks now.
i average 38% to 40%, dont think i hit 50% or better. has been struggling late with KP6, not sure why. another puzzling thing was sasha missing two in a row, same spot at the corner. i notice lately melo is deadly with buzzer meter makes, mostly on standing triple threat jap step shots. i can post some vids later.
overall, i would say i feel more confortable now in attempting the 3-ball. the 3-pt FG % is realistic imo.
