Removing POE's and enforcing ACE is another step away from SIM

ACE has been worked well, but is far off from a complete tool.

Last year you could overwrite ACE by giving POE instructions

This year POE are extinct and you can give instructions only on the fly and in a timeout.

I really don't understand why I need to do it in a timeout and not starting screen as every previous year.

Not only this is the case, but ACE resets any instructions you give after 1-2 offenses.

This is another step towards removing any advantage of basketball technical knowledge as AI will decide how your team willp play more than you will do,

Some would argue that you can turn ACE off, but no... This setting resets in any online game along with defense assist, stick orientation, box out assist etc.

In any case I want to lose or win, my way and not ACE's way or CPU.

Please don't make it harder for me so I need timeouts and turning off buttons etc.

Bring back POE, and make ACE really optional and being ableto override it as previous years

I think you are wrong with your assessment. The ACE interface may take some getting used to and is confusing at first. They really now more than ever need to do a blog on this ACE interface. But, this offer more specifics for Team and Individuals, it just take time to learn the ins and outs. I spent a couple of hours just learning the interface and learning some quick steps. The only problem I have with the ACE interface is once you make your selection or if the Coach calls for different types of defense and offense, there is no way of you knowing because those decisions aren't highlighted(grave oversight).

correct me if I'm wrong, if I change my ace on the fly, does it reset it self sometime later to whatever the coach wants?

I turned ace off and told my team to shrink floor only to realise 3 mins later it seems to change back to auto.

The lack of POE's is definitely a bummer and a step down from 2k16 for me. I also feel lost in the "on the fly settings", the ones in 2k16 felt much more intuitive to me.

          YESSSSS!!!!

I made a thread about it but no one seems to notice

Whether it's play now online or offline no matter if I use the on the fly coaching or in the huddle, none of the adjustments I make actually stick.

This is a pretty crippling issue. I have everything set to manual and ACE turned off.

          PS4

All the defensive adjustments keep defaulting to

          Some Crash, Some Run

          Neutral Def

          Auto.

Obviously there is a bugs thread but this seems like a big enough issue.

          this is a HUGE ISSUE

I thought I was going mad for a minute lol. I remember there was a game where I told my team to limit 3s. and next thing I know there are 3 people on the line freaking wide open.

I was so angry when he got his 3

Lost a couple games in PNO online because of it too. Also with the (awful) on the fly menu you don't even see your selection for the adjustments.

              This is a messy launch.

I know the Da_Czar stated in his stream, that if you have your ACE set to ON and you make a decision to edit your ACE from what the coach called, it will last for a play or until the next stoppage of Play. This is different from last year if you have it set to on last year it will cancel ACE out and you make all the decision from there on. How do you guys know it setting back to default, when nothing stays highlighted after you select it?

                  With ACE off

In the coaching huddle, you can see which adjustments are chosen as they are highlighted,

I make the adjustments I want

To see if they last I call another TO immediately after and all the adjustments I JUST made are reverted back to what they were originally.

no adjustments last any period of time.

when there a time out, it would say auto and be on default settings

                    or

when I tell my team to play a type of way and they respond by playing the opposite.

I just want fullcontrol of my game plan
