What does everyone use? I like real coz it won't punish you for being a little off with your timing, especially if you roll with different teams all the time and can't get used to everyone's releases. But I also like the fact that having skill rewards you n making more shots than what stats might allow? Also, does user timing allow you to make 3's with players that shouldn't if you time it well?

Re: Shooting. User timing vs real %
I jumped into HOF difficulty right away, and was playing with user timing, and I was shooting lights out, but I was missing easy layups, so last night I switched to real player % and I could not hit a shot to save my life. Isiah Thomas was like 0-12 and 8 or 9 of those were wide open mid range or 3s. -

I use real. I have always used real/cpu(what it is called on Live) control going as far back as Live 95.Comment

Re: Shooting. User timing vs real %
even if you use the user timing it's still influenced by real stats. it's not like you're going to be able to learn andre drummond's release and start raining 3's with him.
in fact in general i feel like the players' shooting ability with user timing is still pretty realistic, and i like knowing i had some control over it.Comment
