    Standing Layup Animation

NBA 2K already has a lot of great animations but I think a standing layup needs to be added. There are plenty of driving layup animations but no standing layups. I hate when a player is close to or under the basket and pretty much takes a jumpshot at the rim because if the player doesn't dunk that's the only option. Hopefully this is something that 2k can implement or at least look at implementing in 2K18.

funny there are even attribute and tendency for that lol.

maybe that dumb standing floater thing is their implementation of standing layup.
try holding R stick away from the basket.

Hmmm this got me thinking, I know there is a standing layup animation in the game I've done it with big's before. There is also a standing layup tendency, maybe if we increase it for everyone not just bigs we will start to see it more. I'm gonna try it when I get home.

The problem is that you have to be driving towards the basket to initiate layup animations. In real life if a player standing in the post and catches a pass near or under the basket they're going to lay it up from a standing position. But a player who is standing still in 2K is going to use a jump shot right at the rim. They have a standing dunk rating/tendency and an under the rim dunk animation to go with it. I'm just suggesting an under the rim layup to go with the standing layup rating/tendency.
