Player Mentorship Still Broken?

Has anyone here figured out a way to get player mentorship to work? The badges still aren't being taught from mentor to mentee.

I think certain things are just going to be how they are this year. They haven’t even fixed the bug that switches “camera relative” back to “absolute” every time u launch the game. It is what it is, we’re like 5 patches deep now.

Yeah I've been reading up on all of the patches and I haven't seen it mentioned. I was hoping someone found a workaround, or that it was fixed and they simply forgot to put it into the patch notes.

I also thought I was broken but after sim few different seasons I find that works is very picky with players and not always they get the badge I think in 30 players I sim only 2 got the badge so I think until next version I don't see them change the system to make it easier

I think the 2 out of 30 experience you had was with players who normally progress to acquire those badges anyway, regardless of mentors.

A good way to test the effectiveness of the mentor system (or lack thereof) is to use a badge like Floor General or Defensive Anchor.

It never works, even if you have someone like Chris Paul mentoring Trae Young.
