Update increasing difficulty?

I played through an entire Celtics franchise, on Hall of Fame, and won 68 games, and lost twice in the playoffs en route to a championship. I've done a handful of sims since, and recently found a team I love in 2024, but I was worried the team was too good. Turns out, I can't win anymore?! I'm 2-3 and my losses are by 20+ points. Was there an update in the last month or 6 weeks that made this game much harder?! I like the challenge, but just curious.

Ok I felt like me and my friends were taking crazy pills. We had 2 years where it went great and then recently on the same sliders it felt like the cpu AI was elevated. Games I was winning by 15 I’m losing by 20-25.

I definitely think so. Ive played at least 50 games with my own sliders on allstar. Never had a win or a loss greater than 35 points. Well i started a new my league playing player lock like i usually do and lost the first game by 68!!! No joke...still cant believe it. Cpu shot 62% to my teams 29%. Game seemed scripted from the start where it was obvious the cpu would take it no matter what i did. Was so crazy i havnt tried another game yet since lol.
