What's the difference between these two? Perhaps it's me, but I can't decipher the difference based on the descriptions.

Re: Relay Passer vs. Dimer (Badges, next gen)
Dimer boosts the player on the 1st pass (Player A to Player B)
Relay Passer boosts the player on the 2nd pass (Player A to Player B to Player C). Player C would be the player getting the benefit of the badge. -

Please, could you give an example of player with this badge equipped?
I don't understand the sense i.e. how the 1st player is involved if the benefit is the 3th player (throw the 2nd)?

Oh! It's a dumb badge in my honest opinion. Million dollar question is whether or not the boost stacks if Player B has the Dimer badge which would mean Player C would be getting the benefits of two badges.
EDIT: Interesting. To answer the question, Steph Curry has the badge. It was my first natural assumption due to how they run their offense in general. However, I was trying to find others by going to the list of badges on the roster page, and they don't have a column for that particular badge.Last edited by ksuttonjr76; 03-30-2021, 04:15 PM.Comment

I think it's there to encourage making the extra pass.Oh! It's a dumb badge in my honest opinion. Million dollar question is whether or not the boost stacks if Player B has the Dimer badge which would mean Player C would be getting the benefits of two badges.

Some of the cheesy teams I've seen in the park will clearly make use of this by moving the ball around the perimeter.
If the first guy has HOF Relay, and the second guy had HOF Dimer and HOF Special Delivery, you can witness some cheesy stuff. I know it was worse before 2K patched it. (Team Takeover almost immediately)Comment

I read about that. Sounded like that teams were able to get Team Takeover in like 2-3 possessions easily.I think it's there to encourage making the extra pass.
