looks great on standard tv, you can tell the diff. between last gen and this gen even with a standard tv ( i play 360 on a standard tv)

as far as gameplay goes... it's the same mechanics, but some new animations... old animations smoothed out like CRAZY, better iso3 controls, better dunks, way better layups... etc

let me help you on this one "G", hell yes! i you're a bball purest, you should be very satisfied with this purchase. the animation and grfx are improved but the tweaked gameplay sealed the package for my...

the 360 version also allows you get get in a defensive stance, by holding the L trigger.. (the xbox version does it automatically)

If you loved it on XBOX then you will really love it on 360, i still am in awe when they show the faces in cut scenes. But its all the same gameplay.

I think 2K6 is far better on the 360 then the Xbox. A lot of fixes that xbox faluters at.

The game is good and if you love B-Ball then yes I would say get it for 360 aswell. But this guy gives a valid point regarding the extra $60 bucks.

NBA 2K6 for the 360 looks absolutely amazing. No doubt about it, each player looks and moves spectacularly. Sadly though, this is the only aspect of the game better than it's current generation counterparts. Everything else is mainly unchanged - granted, this isn't a bad thing since the game was so good to begin with, but being on a next generation system you'd expect some other kinds of improvements. It's obvious Take-Two and Visual Concepts had to put a rush on this in order to have it out for launch, but considering that the game is still great due to its fabulous A.I. and controls, we can forgive them... at least this year.

360 is definitely wort ha purchase....the gameplay is not the same as the xbox,it's familiar, but not the same.....it's much better and much improved.

i second that. in the xbox version, shooters like Stephen Jackson and Kyle Kolver are near impossible to stop on the default. in the 360 version, the default level is fair but still very challenging...

Thats good to hear considering a lot of people think the game is the best bball game ever on the regular xbox.

All I'm going to say is once U own the XBox360 version of Nba 2k6, U are going to forget about the Xbox version period!! The game is far much more better all around for the 360!! Nba 2k6 looks real good on SDTV, but HDTV is the way to go for that ultimate experience!!

That is no valid point whatsoever. Apparently, he hasn't spent any time with it to see all the new additions. Things like graphics have been upgraded yes, but there are so many gameplay tweaks, and overhauls that it isn't even funny. Probably the greatest sports game there is. So yes, it is worth the $60.

Yeah U are right that do sound crazy! I over did it with the (far much more better) When I should've said that the Xbox360 version of Nba2k6 is more Superior than the Xbox version of Nba2k6!! And that my friend is no Joke!!

The game is much more refined. The animations flow much better...and the whole 'feel' is vastly superior.

The graphics obviously add to better atmosphere / realism...but the actual gameplay feels a lot smoother.

For hard core NBA fans / guys who play NBA games a lot...the upgrade is absolutely worth it.

For a casual gamer...obviously they wouldn't notice the subtle things + basketball things.
