    Perimeter Defense in NBA 2K7

Does anyone know if in any of the previews or updates of NBA 2K7, has anything been said about the improving the one on one perimeter defense, cause this seemed to be a big problem in NBA 2K6. It always kind of felt like a game of tag, your it when trying to guard someone, espically since the game doesn't really have a defensive stance button or anything like that in the game. The developers hopefully have to understand that NBA defense is more than just blocks and steals, its about facing up on your man and staying with him to make his shot more harder for him to shoot. It seems like if you play a friend online or offline or against the cpu that alot of time you would have a hard time getting your defender to stay with the man. I hope that they have something like this for different players where that can have a attribute for the ability for perimeter defense, players like Bruce Bowen could have a rating of 98 or something like that where as Damon Jones would have 65 or something. I've been searching around but have found nothing on whether the perimeter defense will be improved for NBA 2K7.

I just want to get more open 3 pointers on the perimeter. I want real defensive rotations in the game and good offensive spacing.

The 360 version does have a defensive stanc button

I know College has an on the ball defensive rating as well. Hopefully NBA can work from that and improve it.
      Concrete evidence/videos please

Isn't the L trigger the defensive stance?

I agree with DC, this is an area that 2K7 needs to improve. On-ball defense.

And similarily I hope the computer perimeter defenders go for less steal attempts giving the offensive player a wide open 3.

                I could've sworn the PS2 version had a defensive stance...But I haven't played it for a while so I dunno..

I never seemed to get any wide open threes. That was one of my major complaints with the game. Maybe I just wasn't doing the right things.
