Triangle Offense

Could someone explain exactly what the triangle offense is, and is it possible to use on 2k?

I've heard all this talk about the triangle, but have never had it explained to me.

Sadly, and this is my opinion based off last years game, I don't think this game has the basketball AI to run the triangle. The plays 2k runs are often quick and scripted and once they end players reset in a new formation instead of just running a high pick n roll, dump to the post or anything of that sort.

I would say no but maybe others have had better luck.

Basically the offense is set up with a corner man, a wing, and a guy in the midpost forming a triangle on one side. Theres usually a reversal guy near midcourt and a pinch post guy on the weakside elbow/wing. Theres various ways to get into the offense and all the spot are interchangable basically. Theres also various options depending on where the ball is thrown and how the defense is playing. Players have to make a lot of reads and everyones gotta be on the same page. And you can't really run this offense in the game.

Rub Read in Motion five is the closest thing I've seen to the sideline triangle.
