    Different color bars

Ok, I know the red bars next to the player's name means he's hot. But what do the blue, purple and orange mean? I assume blue means he's cold? Orange mean's he's heating up? I don't know about purple. Also, have you noticed that when you have full bars the chance of a shot going in is much greater?

Yellow is normal. Orange is heating up. Red is hot. Blue is chilly, Purple is freezing. And yes, you make more shots when the bars are higher.

I thought the higher the bars are meant that how good the player is from that spot on the court or the players range? for instance bigs who cant shoot the 3 have no bars when u pass them the ball pass the 3 pt line.

Yeah the higher the better the player is from that area on the court.

But it changes depending on situation. When Kobe gets hot and its clutch time...He can hit from anywhere, he has 5 red bars over the whole floor.

Yeah and when a player is hot like Kobe...with bars red, I've taken many contested shots and drained them.

Watching Kobe heat up and drain a fadeaway 3 to beat the shot clock is a thing of beauty
