Been a problem in 2K basketball games since at least 2K5.

Yeah, nothing's worse than that. Can't wait until all of the players bodies as well as the ball/rim are "impenetrable boundaries" so this stuff doesn't happen. The clipping and sliding in this game is just as bad as 2K8.. at least they improved the ball physics, but the game still has to recognize the initial contact that triggers them, which it obviously isn't very good at.

I doubt they will. Like that dude said, its been a problem for a while. Its a video game guys, what do you expect?

Very frustrating because 2K initially targeted the Mature/Sim audience. But remember, for money is the rule of all evil. (Timothy 6:10) So they dummy down the best product to compete with the rats. It is disappointing to see 2K slipping on the things that separated them from the others. Hopefully, the first patch corrects all the errors because this game is incredible.

Haha, Morph? That's collision detection, or rather, undetection. The companies write it off as clipping issues that they "do their best" to get rid of.
