    Unreadable Disk?

Sorry if this problem has been posted, but pretty irritating situation here.

I had purchased 2K10 last week and within a day of use the game came with the unreadable disk error. XBOX was not moved with the game or anything like that and the XBOX is laying flat as well. Brought it back to Gamestop for a new copy to see if that may be it, same thing happened, but this time it happened much sooner.

Never have had any issues in the past with any of my games and since the last incident (Sunday), my other games remain to be in tact and working properly.

Anyone hear of anything like this or know a possible solution? Any help would be appreciated.

might be you xbox´s DVD-drive failing ... My little brother back home has the same issue.

Try installing it to the hard drive, might need a few tries (if there´s an issue with your drive and i´m pretty sure there is) but once it´s installed you shouldn´t have any issues playing it from your HD as opposed to from the DVD.
Works for him anway and is highly logical thinking about it.

LOL, happens to me all the time, just a little smudge on the disk can do that.

Logical indeed. I am going to pick up another copy and give it a shot. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
