Is It Really That Hard To Do Without Cheatcode!?

Do you think that games have to have cheatcode to compensate for human ability against the CPU? On fast breaks, I notice that the guy on the break, once he gets the ball, either does a side step, back step (gasp!) or slows down for the defense to catch up to him.

I think a game of 2k11's caliber doesn't need cheatcode. I also think in 2010, we should not have cheatcode. Do you think NBA 2k will always have cheatcode?

(Note: This game, by the way, still blows my mind with how awesome it is. Especially now that I have switched camera perspectives, it is on another dimension. I can't wait to get into it deeply!)
When the game is on the line, winners want the ball.

Most of the time cheat codes are for when devs are in the process of testing and making the game.

Gives them a chance to turn off and on specific things while trying out new ideas.

They keep it in the hardcode for users to play around with.

With 2K most of their cheatcodes are Jersey or Ball codes.
