NBA 2k noob

Hey guys long time lurker here.

Just picked up NBA2k11 the other day out of sheer boredom.

Use to be a pretty big basketball fan but really haven't been following the NBA much the last 5-6 years.

That said I am a Bulls "fan" if you can even call me a fan of any team at this point and yes I grew up during the Jordan years. ( 23 now )

Fav player of all-time is Steve Kerr / John Stockton

Ok will all that out of the way. Picked the game up and have been messing around with it. I find myself in a place where I'm sure many beginners with the game are at. Rookie is too easy and I suck on pro.

Can anyone suggest a good set of sliders that could compliment me well along with 8-10 min quarters ?

P.S If 2k put this much effort into the NHL series OMG.

i use armors with some tweaks to my liking; its all about preference though. Go check out the slider thread for more information regarding sliders

Welcome to the wild world of posting njdevil. While there are some great slider tweakers out there I would start by just seeing what it is that is difficult about playing on pro ? Is it your shooting or your defense ? then adjust the sliders that makes that part of the game a little easier while not removing the challenge factor.

If that fails I know there has to be someone in the slider section that has a set you find agreeable.

You gotta be more specific than that, my brother. Tell us how you play, what you're good at and what you're not good at.

I would also recommend simply editing the sliders yourself. They're mostly self-explanatory, and if you don't understand what a particular slider does, you can always ask on here.
