Bird and Johnson Covers

I heard the Bird and Johnson covers are limited so are we able to pre-order a specific cover? And, what cover are you guys looking to get? I'll probably go with Bird.

I don't care either, I care more about the game. Either way, I'm sure there will be enough Magic/Bird custom covers here, so you don't need to worry.

PS: Who would have thought that some day an official MJ cover would be a "Nahh...I'd rather the other guys"???!

Haha, true. I just wanted something different cause Jordan was on the last cover. But the game is what matters the most. I think that people will try and get the game earlier than the release date once again.

Not criticizing you, for sure. I know some people only want a certain cover, and therefore I think it would have been cool if 2k have created a stock of all 3 covers, send it to retail stores - and when you buy the game you would choose which cover to get.

It seems that 2K avoiding including all 3 covers was to increase launch sales. People that are really aiming to get a certain cover will have to purchase their copy before the first shipment sells out.

I believe at first 2k will produce and ship an equal amount of the 3 covers and eventually only ship the Jordan covers.

Bird's cover for sure probably won't be often you get a white guy on 2k's covers

Or. . . you could try asking one of the many "cover" artist around OS to put something together for you whenever an NBA 2k12 template becomes available. Just a thought
