NBA 2k12 Freezing Problem (PS3)

I was going to play 2k until it froze at the beginning where it is loading the roster. I haven't taken the disk out in about a week or so. I tried to clean it with a tissue (normally works for me) but that didn't work. Now I've tried to restart the game about 5 times and it still doesn't work. Anyone else have this problem or does anyone have any suggestions?

I had it. Here's what I did to fix it. Copied all files to thumb drive, deleted both patches, then redownloaded the latest patch, started the game and it works fine. Now you can copy your save files back to play with them.
