I found the training camp mode to be very helpful for learning these moves. Even though I've got a 100% completion, I go back through certain areas once in a while to brush up on things.

I'm sure it was and it is appreciated! I'm just reinforcing your post with additional information that might help. I'm pretty new to the NBA2k series, and the amount and complexity the moves is awesome but takes time to learn.

Is there a way to skip areas of the Training mode? It seems to make me do them in order which I don't want to do since I suck at the dribbling moves and can't beat the thing at the end where you have to get 5000 points to advance. I'd like to move on to something else but can't figure out how until I pass this section of the Training.

I can't remember if you have to get 100% on everything first. But I have and when I go to training camp a menu pops up allowing me to pick things like dribbling skills or post up moves. I do have to do all the post up moves though. I can't just work on one particular one. I use shoot around or practice for that. Also In most game modes including practice and the shoot around mode in my player, you can go to hit pause, go to options then my controller and then advanced controls to see a list of all the moves in case you forget.

There are some moves that aren't found in the official manual and in game advanced control list, like say pressing R2 while in post stance during offball on offense to spin off the defender. I think if you press R2 while being boxed out, you can attempt to steal the position. Need to try some more to confirm.

Also certain moves taught in training camp such as offball movements (Pippen and LeBron part) aren't in the lists.
