Multiple well know Centers have a extremely high "Hesitation" Tendency...backwards?

90 is the number I am seeing over and over again as I edit rosters. It's under setup dribble category...

Pretty much I would say half at least of the centers have 90 for hesitation tendency. Guys like Dwight Howard, Marcin Gortat, Cole Aldrich(editing right now), in fact every Center on teh Thunder has a 90 setting.

Why the hell did 2k do this??? Do you seriously EVER see centers doing a hesitation move before dribbling? Noooo...it's simple drives because they aren't guards!

Maybe I am not understanding the definition of this tendency? Maybe 90 is a good number for all these big men, I dunno? But I seriously doubt it....could someone explain to me what this tendency means?? A video of the actual "Hesitation" would be awesome lol

And 90 for in a out or double dribble?
Or 90 for spin lay up or eurostep?
Or Oden 85 for post fadeway?
every year for the big man is the same story........

Just a way to get their lottery numbers into the game. Seems very random to me. But that is what they do.

See I wish the devs would pay attention to this type of stuff in the game. This is another example of how the players tendencies are screwed up in this game. If they would properly set the current and legend players tendencies the game would play even more realistic.

Kind of off topic but how many things should I edit?? So far I'm tweaking attack / pass out , touches, & isolation as well as looking at all the individual plays & team playbooks. When things are right, this game is really good!

They created most players from a template. The template has certain tendencies that were obviously not changed as you will see these same patterns throughout certain positions and player types.

Put simply, they did not SET it to 90 so much as it was PRESET to 90.

              ^ Good point.

@JMarcus, you should edit everything if you want a proper roster. Leave no stone left unturned.

I love the game but I'm starting to feel like I'm programming it! Lol

If you're on ps3, bedwardsroy19 and I have created an edited roster with rookies with equipment edits, tendency edits/playbooks types for every player. Go to the roster sub-forum and check it out. We have a google.doc on it where you can see alot of it. Version 2 just released...game plays so much better! Working on re-rating players now for version 3, and version 4 will be signature shots (credit to 1rose).

What was said makes sense, in that it's preset. I saw a TON on Centers with the same exact settings of 44 for Sizeup tendency, and 90 for Hesitation so it makes sense why now but still really dumb that 2k does this. We have to become roster makers in order for the game to play right!
