ratings improve when editing a player??

everytime I go and edit a players appearance in dynasty mode, their ratings increase. Rashard Lewis went from a 76 to a 78, everyone on my team improved atleast 1 point.

probaly because your team is doing good that is the only way or maybe you gained a few in training camp i edited some players on my team once and it did nothing

I know, it's weird. The same thing happened to me the other day. I went to edit Chris Bosh and he jumped up from a 65 or whatever he was to 71. Usually, whenever I go and just change player gear or something, the overall rating changes as well.

I know, it's weird. The same thing happened to me the other day. I went to edit Chris Bosh and he jumped up from a 65 or whatever he was to 71. Usually, whenever I go and just change player gear or something, the overall rating changes as well.

maybe its a glitch with ea then cuz some of the guys ratings i look at are nice and its only like a 75 im like huh? look at someone else with almost exact same ish and they got a rating of 85 its like um but word i did it to houston in my francsh then i did my whole team hahaha

It happened to me again today. I went to edit Matt Bonner's gear and his overall rating changed. Damn EA.

i think the more expensive things u put on them like changein gernic shoe's to expensive ones or puttin pads n all that on them makes there ratings change

i did with with m sweetney off the knicks i changed his shoes and he went from 64 to 52 then i put him back in his orignal shoes and he went back to 64 put some expensive on him went to 75 hahahah

If you change the position of some players there rating will change.Example:I change Austin Croshere from PF to SF he went from a 58 to 60.I like the fact that you can change the player position so, they can play in the position that best fix your team.Live has this ESPN doesn`t.Maybe it the shoes?

Yeah, I knew that changing a player's primary or secondary position affected his overall rating, but I had no idea that changing a player's gear would do the same. I'm going to try out what sammogard said and see if it holds true.

Yeah, I knew that changing a player's primary or secondary position affected his overall rating, but I had no idea that changing a player's gear would do the same. I'm going to try out what sammogard said and see if it holds true.
