What are the major differences between the two? Is one more sim or arcadish...Im not trying to start a which is better thread, just wanted the features or styles of both...Thanks

I don't have 2k9 yet, but judging from what I've read and by my time with 2k8, I don't think either game is arcadish now.
Live 09 is not an arcadey game at all.
This is probably an answer you're not looking for, but IMO you can't go wrong with either game this year.
I have Live 09 now and if someone said "That's it, you can't have 2k9" I'd be fine with that. I enjoy Live 09.
That said, I'm getting 2k9 anyway. -
