late game freethrows lag?

i played a game all the way through clean and then when it gets to the end with me up he starts to foul and horrible lag pursues.
is this a common problem is, this suppose to happen or was the guy i was playing cheating.

This seems to happen to me quite often although I thought it was just my connection... Didn't know other people was having the same problem.

yea i haven't been playing lately but this never happened and as soon as the freethrows end its all normal again

Their are defintely some guys who can "cheat" and cause this to happen. I'm not sure how their doing it. There are also guys that (I think) use a mod controller that to hit x or b super fast to cause the f-t meter to jump. I could give you a couple tags of guys who do some stuff like that I put on my "never play list" but I don't like bashing folks.

yea i kind of figured he was cheating but i won anyways so i don't care im kind of finish with live 09 waiting on 10
