Live is a bit better with the player ratings than 2K but some players like Tim Duncan should be rated higher goes for both games. 2K has some decent ratings but a good amount are rated slightly to low for my taste, but one is too High Rondo 87? I disagree with that.

I hate to create a argument but, Kobe 97? Joe Johnson better then Ray Allen And Iverson. I wonder if they based their rating off of FGA's because everyone rated in the 90's takes more then 17 shots besides KG and Howard I liked live 09 ratings a bit better. But nothing I cant fix with the edit player option.

IMO, If kobe and wade is rated so high though players like Ray Allen, Allen Iverson, And a lot more players should of been rated higher it seems a bit whop sided.

Sorry to all the OS people if it sounds like a complaint.

Those sound fair to me. Kobe at 97 sounds spot on. Lebron should be up there too. Although statistically Lebron puts up slightly better numbers due to certain circumstances by design or by nature, I don't think he's "better" in terms of polish and all around. Either way, it's a wash.

Why should Ray Allen be higher? He's nowhere near Kobe or Lebron. He's a 34 year old shooting guard that has one dimension to his game right now (shooting).

I wont argue with you man. It's not worth letting the forum get out of hand.

            I'll agree to disagree.

Well it's a discussion about the player ratings

As long as we keep it civil, then all good, right?

I just don't think at this stage of his career he's anywhere near a Lebron or Kobe...or the best players in the game.

              He's a great shooter, that's about it.

Jose still kinda got jacked in Live but no where near as bad as 2K.

                      Butler down or Gay up.

Gonna have to put Bosh's rating up a bit. Duncan down. West up 1 too. Dirk down 1 or 2.

                      Kaman up.

They made a typo on the last page...

Yeah Rondo is rated kinda high. To name a few guards that are better. Nash and Kidd out of respect even though they getting old. CP3, Williams, Baron, TP, Rose, arguably devin harris, and Billups. But i think Rondo will be in the top 5 in a few years, maybe even better if he develops a jumpshot.

                            Re: Player ratings on ESPN

I preface this by saying it's not because I'm a homer. 2K, ironically with the exception of Bosh, totally snubs the Raptors core player ratings.

Calderon and Hedo not even in their top 10? that's ridiculous. Again ironically they have Bosh at 3??? Higher than Dirk and Pau? I love CB4 but him being higher than those two can be argued.

Stephen Jackson a better small forward than Hedo...oooooook.

Guys, for the sake of this thread, please make sure that when you're discussing a rating, you point out which game's ratings you're talking about. For example, the guys talking about Rondo being high, I think you're talking about 2K, but I'm not sure....
