Is the NBA Live Companion App gone?

I recently bought NBA Live and want to use the GamefaceHD to upload my ugly mug, but I can not for the life of me locate the app in the Google Play Store. Every time I search the store all I can find is the NBA Live Mobile App. Maybe I am doing something wrong but the old Google search didn't help me out.

Thanks for any info you guys might have.

Does anybody know what happened to the app? It seems odd that it would just suddenly not be on the Playstore or Apple Store.

My guess at this point is that the mobile Live game and the console will be intertwined going forward. I'm guessing they will implement the face scanning and all that into the mobile game and sync across all platforms. What I've been reading makes it seem that they are making NBA Live a platform now, versus just a game on a single console.

              UPDATE

              Android

You can find the .APK for it online for Android devices. The catch is that the app does not actually work anymore. When you attempt to sign-in to it, you get a URL error (that has like a 21 page thread on EA's forum). It won't work on any Android device.

              iPhone/iPad
It is NOT on the Apple Store for the iPhone or the iPad. I did however still have mine installed on my old iPhone. It is already logged in with my account, lets me scan my face, but when it tries to upload it, it fails.

The app does not work on either platform anymore.
