Here are some notes

- face scan app will release before demo
- each play style has a signature ability
- Traits are customizable like a load out
- some traits are unique to playstyles , nba , or streets
- your loadout is changeable . Traits can be equipped or unequipped.
-Signature ability never changes
- you have to earn some traits
- traits are meant to expand your game
- you don't have to play in the streets/ pro am your choice to level up
- an online leaderboard called the one score which is
a combination of street and league hype.
- can filter by playstyles
- goodman league included

I love this. It feels like they listened to the 2k complaints about MyCareer.

If this means we can "grind" in ANY of these 3 modes and have it all count the same toward progression? That is awesome.

If they can remove the sticks out of the player's asses before the launch, I might actually buy the game. And if the online play is better than 2k? I might forgive the sticks up the asses and play it anyway.

I'm going to give this mode a try this year. I like the fact that they posted all the playstyles already and will have a demo, so that it gives people a chance to see how the game really is.
They followed similar concepts with 2k. But I liked how they attacked some of the weaknesses 2k had with archetypes. With Playstyles having Primary & Secondary skills, it feels like you wont be a one dimensional player.
I will Gamefly Live 18 this year. After looking at all the playstyles, initially I was thinking of playing as a Wing Player. But after looking at the Hybrid Wing playstyle, that seems like a deadly playstyle. Virtually no real weakness. Plays like a Slasher, Mid Range and Corner 3, Passing and Dribbling, and Rebound and Defending. I can see a lot of people playing as that playstyle.

So is there going to be a story like the other EA games? Been seeing sites and blogs report as a story mode but nothing has been confirmed.

I wonder if live pro am is going to be like 2k pro am where you can face other players. All I see is you going against nba stars. I want to be able to customize the uniform and everything

Feels like the one mode will be a little too generic for my taste this year. Although I've said many times I prefer generic over forced storylines. I'll have the demo so that'll be significant to make a decision. I just want it to be about the process of being a pro from start to finish. The streetball pro am circuits are cool, but seems to be to much of a focal point. Still early.
