i keep seeing folks talk about slow jumpshots but i dont see it? to me, if i look at the meter it does feel a bit weird but when i look at the actual jumpshot release it feels "right"

Unfortunately, the game isnt void of this stuff once you rise past pro...

https://streamable.com/21eld

2 clips here.

First is Giannis basically smacking me (just funny how the animation plays out) back in place once I beat him

The second is Westbrook moving me 7 steps to the left without me pressing anything, just trying to take a slight step forward.

Overall, they have done a really good job with 1 on 1 interaction but I hate to see them kind of toss the logic out for the sake of difficulty....

This is my basketball game this year hands down.

The hype is real.
I feel like the ai sucks you into contact a lot.

Although i will always be a 2k guy, props to live for making a game that finds it's own lane that appeals to a lot of people. Competition is good for both sides.

You are already deciding you are buying this game and not 2k18? How? Why? You haven't played 2k18 one second yet. Don't understand how anyone could make that decision at this point. I'm glad live has made some strides, competition is a good thing. But 2k is still a far superior game and when it comes out people will see that again. Everyone is just starved for a basketball video game right now at this time of year & Live is the only thing available right now.

Live 18 is already better than 2k17 easily, and maybe even 2k16. Last 2 2k games have been very lackluster as far as gameplay, with the ridiculous amount of canned animations and complete lack of a dribble drive game. This game isn't as pretty animations wise (I do think it crushes 2k as far as lighting), but you have a lot more freedom, you can break out of stuff, and do what you want, when you want for the most part. It's a breath of fresh air.

lol this sounds like a person who wasn't very good at the game. There are loads of canned animations in this game too, so i wish people would stop saying that crap. Lack luster? No dribble drive? I can show you plenty of videos of me and other people dribbling with skill and driving.

You probably think I'm a 2K fanboy by my words, but I'm not, I rip 2K on various issues.

Seriously though at least wait until the game releases before you start saying a demo is better than a full game.

Neither game has everything right.
