I'm likely getting both games i think. I like NBA Live, But lack of roster editing may ultimately force me to leave it on the shelves. I'm a hardcore sim guy with my season modes, so 2K is right up my alley. I really really like NBA live 18 though.

Not buying, unless the jumpshots get a big overhaul.

Re: After Playing the Demo, Are You Buying, Not Sure or No

I'm changing my answer to definitely yes after playing some more this evening. Game isn't perfect but I'm having a blast. I think some stuff can be patched to better the experience, I may still even get 2K around Black Friday, but my first ball purchase this season will be Live. (never thought I would say that!)

I need to hear about Franchise mode before i buy. If Franchise mode is in-depth then i'm sold.

I have my doubts that it will be amazing though so i voted "leaning towards not buying" until proven otherwise

Already pre-ordered 2 copies. The game is AMAZING this year! Finally real basketball. Goodbye to the other company ....

Re: After Playing the Demo, Are You Buying, Not Sure or No

I like some aspects of the game but after playing a real game against the Warriors I can say that I don't like how the game plays outside of the Streets/Pro am. So no I won't be buying.

I'm absolutely pre-ordering the game for day one on PS4 Pro for $40. Plus, on top of that I'll buy another copy in November for Xbox One X. Live 18's tempo of gameplay can be played either way (fast or slow). That's just something I could never replicate on 2K.

The game has its flaws and some legacy issues from 16 but it's fun as hell and addicting to play. I was pre-ordering from the moment they announced the game but you can't beat $39.99 especially if you have Amazon Prime or Best Buy Gamers Club to take advantage of the 20% discount. This game would be the same price as Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (I highly recommend, one of the best games of the year).
